The Argentina Beef Promotion Institute (IPCVA) was founded on December 11th 2001. As a public non-governmental institution, that works for the promotion of beef consumption in Argentina.

Role

IPCVA’s main role rests in the beef chain consolidation and improvements. On a daily basis, the Institute works to promote Argentine beef products’ image by taking into account traditions and the prestige that the country has in worldwide markets. Accompanied by its values and the hard work that gets put into the institution, this organization faces the challenges and works to achieve its goals.

The compromise for expanding the business and the image of Argentina’s beef products result in a commitment taken by the IPCVA to increase all beef chain competitiveness by providing information and sectorial expertise for the decision making process, regarding business, whilst it contributes to the generation of improved conditions in the environment, both in domestic and international markets.

Goals

The IPCVA main goals are oriented to creating demand for the country’s beef products.

  • In order to make it, there is a primordial need to identifying and creating demand for these products in national and international markets.
  • For achieving so, there must be a complete design and strategy implementation for improving the positioning of beef products in competition standards overseas.
  • However, in order to improve international consumption, domestic consumption has to be firstly achieved. To do so, there must be marketing schedule and strategy development to contribute to domestic consumption levels.
  • Last, ensuring quality and security of Argentina’s beef, contributing to an improved efficiency of the industrial and productive processes.
