It all started in 1896, in the town of San Carlos Norte, Province of Santa Fe, when Don Juan María Lheritier and Don Juan Orse decided to partner to produce food products, with the aim of supplying the most delicious flavors to the entire region. In 1919 Don Juan María Lheritier acquired the entire goodwill, embarking on a new stage of the company with his family.
In 1958, the company decided to bet heavily on the future, generating an important transformation process, incorporating equipment and machinery of German, Italian and English technology, thus becoming a Moderna industrial plant.
At the end of 2017, Lheritier, through its expansion strategy, finished acquiring Bessone S.A., a company specialized in infusions. Its flagship products, El Pocillo Malt and Malt Maltifé, lead the strategic categories, followed by Cereals, Powdered Beverages, Cappuccino, Breads and continuous developments.
