The new T-shirt has a yellow base on which three vertical black stripes are displayed. Each one has a subtle chevron pattern inside and is interrupted at the center of the torso to give space to Antel, the telecommunications company that sponsors Peñarol.
In black there are also the cuffs, the fringe that adorns the shoulders, as well as its “V” style neck. The sleeves are in yellow and show off the traditional “Champion of the Century" logo again.
Yellow also dominates the back. In fact, the canes cover much less surface area. However, the detail to highlight corresponds to the beautiful typography, the same one that is seen in the stands of its stadium, with which the club remembers the year of its foundation (1891) right under the nape of the neck.
