Corona Beer has its beginnings in the decade of the 20s since, with the arrival of a group of Spaniards, in 1922, they build the Cervecería Modelo S.A. In 1925 the construction of the Beer Group of Mexico called Grupo Modelo led by Mr. Braulio Iriarte as president and by Francisco Cilveti, whose mission was position the brewery in Mexico City and its surroundings. A year later the Corona Brewery was born.
