San Ignacio was born in 1939 as a family business producing dulce de leche in the largest national dairy basin. The family business founded by Ignacio Rodríguez Soto was associated in 1997 with Laiteries Hubert Triballat (Rians), and it was selling all the share capital in parts.
Today its products are present in about 25 countries in America, Europe, Asia and Oceania and it is one of the main exporters of dulce de leche in the world.
