Vacalin's original Dulce de Leche is bright brown, has a caramelized flavor and a touch of vanilla, with a creamy consistency and a caramelized chestnut color. It is ideal to eat by spoonfuls, in breakfast, snacks or desserts. Dulce de Leche refers to the product obtained by milk concentration or milk reconstituted by the action of heat at normal pressure or reduced, with or without addition of solids of dairy origin and/or cream, and added sucrose (partially replaced or not by monosaccharides and/or disaccharides), with or without addition of other food substances.

Ingredients

Whole milk, sugar, glucose, dairy solids, acidity regulator (sodium bicarbonate), flavoring (vanilla flavor), preservative (potassium sorbate).

Making

Milk is concentrated in pots by steam heating. it has been previously sanitized and pasteurized. Add the rest of the ingredients: sugar, glucose, potassium sorbate, bicarbonate and vanillin and concentrate until the desired oBrix is achieved, based on each formulation. The dulce de leche is sent to cooling tanks, and then to the packaging stage in its different containers and formats. Finally it goes to warehouse of finished product until the moment of its dispatch.
