In one of the migratory flows that arrived in our country in the year 1900, Don Miguel Gerula arrives accompanied by his father and other relatives; they are located in the Colony of San José in the Province of Misiones. Don Miguel, eager for progress in this new land, forms his family with Doña Catalina Karaben and is located in the place where today, more than 100 years ago, is the Yerba Mate processing and packaging plant "ROMANCE".
