The main characteristic of organic grass, as of any food of this type, is that from the moment of its planting to its processing, it is not exposed to insecticides, pesticides or agrotoxics. In this way, organic yerba mate remains free of chemical contaminants, thus maintaining a totally natural stage of the cultivation and processing process.
The production process of organic yerba is much more environmentally friendly than the industrial one, with which we are contributing to the care of the planet. Yerba mate is naturally dried, the process of which is not artificially accelerated. This prevents the oxidation of the leaf and therefore reduces its acidifying effect. In addition, it has no addition of saponins; this substance is a natural component present in low doses in the herb, but it is added industrially.
