CLADD was founded in 1972 as a small clothing store, and shortly after, we ventured into fabric manufacturing, incorporating a new business unit. This approach became a recurring theme throughout our history, allowing us to experience steady growth.
A few years later, in an effort to reduce our dependence on third-party services, we acquired our first weaving machine and later a dyeing machine. Over time, we continued to grow, investing in machinery with the goal of vertical integration. We began selling surplus fabric and developing new business opportunities.

The family's history dates back to the early 20th century when Don Pedro Cagnoli arrived from Lombardy, Italy, and settled in Tandil, where he found the ideal climate for producing salami and cured sausages. His experience and the nature of the mountainous air created the synergy that gave rise to the distinctive flavor that now characterizes the products. These salamis gradually transcended the village's borders, gaining fame in the top hotels and restaurants in Buenos Aires. Don Pedro started a family legacy that, three generations later, continues to be the foundation of the company: respect for traditions, respect for the environment in which we live and produce, and a passion for quality. Today, the third generation continues to develop the company with the same vision and values that Don Pedro Cagnoli established almost a century ago.
